Q: Do you have a studio?

A: Yes. We operate our home studio in Pflugerville, TX. Newborn sessions (Lullaby Sessions), Milestone sessions, Smash Cake sessions, High School Senior Studio portraits, and Professional Headshots are done in our studio.

Q: Where will the location of our session be?

A: The Austin and surrounding areas are full of great locations for outdoor/natural portraits. We will discuss and plan your location at your pre-session consultation.

Q: Do you use props?

A: Yes. Glimpses Captured has an extensive prop collection which is used to custom design every session.

Q: I have a few ideas I think I’d like to incorporate into the session. Can I tell you about them?

A: Absolutely! Please do. I love creativity and having a great time during our session.  Contact me + we can brainstorm. I love nothing more than a good, creative brainstorming session about photo sessions!

Q: What do I wear!?

A: Very common question! I have a “What to Wear” document for this exact question you receive once a session is booked.  Best Tip: feel comfortable and be yourself.

Q: When I book a session with you, does that include a DVD or CD of images?

A: Sorry, no.  I am not a “shoot and burn” photographer and no sessions I offer come with a DVD of images.  Ultimately, the photos we take together are meant to be seen hanging as a gallery wrap on your wall, in a simple frame your desk, or as an album you can cherish forever.

Q: Can I buy a USB of high resolution images from our session?

A: Once you select your art piece and/or album you can opt to complete your custom package with digitals.

Q: What about low resolution images for sharing? Can I get  those?

A: Every pose that is purchased includes a complimentary watermarked image for sharing.  You can view them on your computer, email, and use on social networking sites. Ask me about our Personalized App for your phone & devices!

Q: Do you have any advice for newborn sessions?

A: Of course! I’m a Mom of 3 myself  plus I worked in professional childcare for 8 years before I went to college.

I’ve gained some invaluable experience + knowledge working with  newborns.  They are all at once one of the hardest + most rewarding sessions to have.  I’d be happy to share all of the little tips + tricks I have with you once you book a session.

Q: What time of the year is the best time to do our session?

A: I love the long Spring and even longer Fall here in Central Texas -BUT that doesn’t mean it’s the only time for portraits! -Especially if you have a little one that is moving past milestones more quickly than the weather changes! Studio sessions are perfect for the 110 degree heat or the 36 degree chilly seasons. Let’s chat about the perfect timing for you and your family!

Q: How soon can I book a session with you?

A: Every season is different.  Don’t hesitate to contact me to find out what my current schedule is looking like.

Q: What do I do if my baby or child is sick on the day of our session?

A: Please contact me immediately if you think your baby or child will not be feeling 100% on the day of the session.  We can determine the best course of action from there. I do prefer the baby or child to be happy and healthy on the day of the shoot for the sake of the photos 🙂

Q: Do you photograph weddings? I see bridal sessions and engagement sessions on your facebook?

A:  We no longer offer wedding coverage, however we love Bridal portraits and Engagement sessions.
